I just installed a big bore kit…should I have to upgrade the starter for a high torque starter?
I did. Works better and looks cool with the chrome.
But I don’t think you “need” to.

Anything over a 171cc you will need to. I bought a cover for my stock starter. Might upgrade in the future.
