Ruckus and Met ECUs

Here are the ECU part numbers for GET engines on the original Mets (2002-2009), and Rucks (2003-current).

Met

Met II (the Met II has a lower RPM limit than the Met)

Ruckus

GEZ-612
GEZ-671(2003-2005)
GEZ-672 (2003-2005)

Assuming the ruckus ECU variants are different to each other, does the ECU need to stick with the wiring loom or the engine? Or both? Or can you mix and match whatever?

Pretty sure you can swap them out… correct me if I am wrong but I have, many times, swapped a new one for another… maybe I just got lucky?? I never checked the part number or anything

Rucks can swap. Mets are by year

Does the ecu have to go with the harness or the engine?

Just wondering in case this applies to the zoomer.

Goes with the harness. They have corresponding part numbers.
